Only two pigments were used to create this painting. White chalk from Hampshire and pink brick from North London. Lisa makes each paint from pigment she crushes by hand and binds to make watercolour. This process is a form of meditation for her and directly impacts the work she creates. This painting in particular was informed by a moment of complete calm.
