During Lisa’s residency at 13 Soho Square, she wanted to lead a workshop exploring materials, nature and community. During this workshop, you will be guided through a relaxed and mediative creative process using drawing, installation and interacting with fellow attendees as inspiration.
In this workshop you will:
- Create a small installation using rocks/earth/stones
- Have the use of a variety of drawing media to sit and draw your installation
- Be given a demonstration on how to make paints from rocks and an accompanying PDF with “How to” instructions
- Have time to explore materials and creative mediums
All materials are provided but if you would like to bring a selection of rocks/stones with you to contribute to the installation that would be fantastic. This workshop is open to all ages and abilities. It will give you a safe, non-judgemental and relaxed space to create. You do not need to have any drawing experience to be able to participate.
This session will be hosted at 13 Soho Square, London, W1D 3QF where Lisa is currently in residence.
Tickets are priced at £10 per person to help cover materials costs. This workshop is suitable for beginners and all materials are included. A selection of refreshments will be provided.
